Unable to attend the polls?

If you cannot attend on Election Day or during advance voting, you may appoint a qualified Windsor elector you trust to vote on your behalf. This is called proxy voting.

Complete the Appointment of Voting Proxy form and follow the City’s certification process. The City Clerk must certify the form before it can be used; an uncertified form will not be accepted at a voting location.

Contact the Elections Office at 519-255-6100 ext. 6285 for help. Forms are available from the City Clerk at Suite 530, 350 City Hall Square West, or through the City’s proxy voting page.

Accessible voting

The City states that all voting locations are accessible. Ask an election worker if you need assistance. A friend may help you mark your ballot after the required oaths are taken.

Magnifying sheets are available at voting stations, and the City lists assistive ballot-marking equipment for advance voting. Contact the Elections Office before your visit to discuss the support you need.
